How it works

Consultation

Let’s Talk. Fill out the form on the contact page. Within 5 business days, I’ll get back to you to set up a consultation. We’ll talk about your book. We’ll get into tone, characters, themes, and icons. I want to get a true sense of your story. We’ll discuss the ideas you already have for your cover. We’ll go over any images that inspire you. This is a great time to get all of your questions answered.

Round 1

After our discussion in your consultation, I’ll get to work on Round One. In round one, I’ll create two covers, trying to capture your vision and the heart of your story. These two covers are drafts to help us determine the direction you’d like to take your cover. I’ll present the covers to you for a decision on which you prefer. We’ll talk about what you like and don’t like, as well as any other ideas you might have. Keep in mind these covers are drafts. We haven’t got to the stunning finished product yet.

Round 2

In Round Two, the magic happens. Now that I have a solid vision of everything you want, I’ll create the cover you’ve been dreaming of!

Finalize

Let’s finish up! I’ll present the cover I’ve created in Round 2 for your final approval. We can make any minor adjustments to ensure your cover is perfect! Any further changes (more rounds) may incur additional charges. I do this to prevent us from tweaking your cover forever. (Trust me. It’s a temptation.)

Note: I don’t design covers for the Horror genre or anything depicting violence, gore, or disturbing images. I also don’t design any sexually explicit images, or design for the Erotica or Dark Romance genres.

Stickers – $.20-.50 per sticker up to 3″/ Glossy, matte, and holographic laminate available/ 50 count min.
Bookmarks(two sided) – $.20-.35 depending on paper selections/ 18 count min.
Vellum Inserts – $.25-.50 per one page spread depending on paper thickness and book size.
Sprayed/Artistic Edges – $10 per book/ no count min/ 1 free sample
Client is responsible for all shipping costs.
